2016/10/22 A type of English which makes little sense to you

I guess everyone has met a type of English which makes little sense to you at least once. The further you read it, the less sense it makes to you.

It seems that the type of English I write is hardly understandable for my supervisor. He read an abstract of my presentation which is hopefully to be delivered at a research conference next year. He said, "I can't figure out quite clearly what you want to say. So I want you to submit a Japanese version of it." These words were so disappointing that I nearly decided to stop writing English entries every day, thinking that there should be more to learn about before actually doing so. But I thought better of it. Anyway, practice makes perfect, and even if it doesn't, there seems to be nothing else that I can do to improve my English.
