2017/01/23 An effect of lack of sleep on my mind

Living as I am as a philosophy major and a part time teacher of English, it is inevitable that I stay up late and I wake up late in the morning. This way of living is not troublesome, except that it prevents you from taking out the garbage. If you want to do so, you have to cut down your sleeping hours and get up early.

For the first time this year, I succeeded in taking out the garbage at the cost of about two hours of sleep. I am now suffering from the lack of sleep. This makes my mind wander about and I can hardly concentrate my attention on anything. Moreover, I am finding myself talking to myself more often than usual. Admitting that I am something of a soliloquist, a person who is habitually engaged in self-dialogue, soliloquy today occurs too frequently.
